ROLE OVERVIEWFanatics Licensing Management (FLM) is a standalone subsidiary of Fanatics, Inc. that serves clients ranging from college programs —including the University of Georgia, University of Kentucky, University of Miami, University of Notre Dame, University of Oregon, and the University of Wisconsin to professional properties such as the NFL Players Association, Major League Soccer, Hockey Canada, and MLB (Hard Goods),providing trademark licensing agency services and sublicensing rights management.
The Licensing Administrator serves a supporting role across operations, client and contract management, and trademark enforcement, ensuring licensees meet their obligations while delivering a positive and productive partner experience.
The Licensing Administrator delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data,automation, and AI-enabled insights.
Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.
Team & Leadership Impact- Partner with the Licensing Operations team to support prioritized projects including renewals, contract compliance, system updates, and policy change notifications, contributing to a collaborative and high-functioning licensing team.
- Serve as a knowledgeable internal resource across FLM teams, coordinating with all internal stakeholders to maintain accurate records of contract compliance and requirements.
- Contribute to daily business processes and make recommendations that improve collaboration and efficiency within FLM's licensing team.
- Create a positive and productive partner experience for both clients and existing and prospective licensees by understanding their respective businesses and anticipating their needs.
- Serve as an accessible external resource for licensees, answering a wide range of questions and supporting them through the full lifecycleof their licensing relationship with FLM.
- Organize, track, and coordinate inventory of product samples for licensee requests and applications, maintaining clear communication with licensees on receipt and any outstanding information needs.
- Prepare and deliver education materials and training information to help licensees understand the benefits, requirements, and workings of the licensing system.
- Master FLM's proprietary licensee management database to conduct all business transactions between FLM, its clients, and licensees with accuracy and efficiency.
- Review digital artwork submissions from select licensees for contract and trademark compliance as well as client brand standards through the established artwork review workflow process.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and make recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of FLM's licensing operations.
- Review and process royalty reports submitted by licensee, tracking and monitoring receipt of reports and addressing inaccurate submissions through written and verbal communication with licensee.
- Work with new and existing licensees to ensure completion of all licensing requirements, including royalty reporting, contract execution, insurance submissions, labor code requirements, authorized manufacturer agreements, and digital artwork submissions.
- Manage contract compliance tracking across the licensee portfolio, ensuring expirations, renewals, and outstanding requirements are surfaced and resolved in a timely manner.
