Business Intelligence Specialist

Our client is a leading law firm with offices across the country. They are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join the team. The position is hybrid with 3 out of 5 days onsite at their beautiful office in NYC
.

• You have a bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, business research, or business development
• Experience in a law firm, consulting, professional services, or financial services environment preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Proficient with tools such as Pitch Book, Capital IQ, Bloomberg Law, Lexis Nexis, or Westlaw
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
  Power BI and AI research tools are a plus

• Research companies, industries, competitors, and market trends to support pitches, client meetings, and strategic initiatives
• Prepare executive-ready reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses, and competitive intelligence
• Monitor market activity and identify business development opportunities
• Partner with attorneys and business development teams to support client growth strategies
• Leverage research platforms and AI tools to deliver timely, actionable insights

• Research informs strategic business decisions and client development efforts
• Intelligence is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time
• Market insights uncover new opportunities and strengthen business development initiatives

Salary Range: $100, annually, based on experience

Location: New York, NY - Hybrid
