Our client is a leading law firm with offices across the country. They are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join the team. The position is hybrid with 3 out of 5 days onsite at their beautiful office in NYC
.
- You have a bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, business research, or business development
- Experience in a law firm, consulting, professional services, or financial services environment preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proficient with tools such as Pitch Book, Capital IQ, Bloomberg Law, Lexis Nexis, or Westlaw
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills;
Power BI and AI research tools are a plus
- Research companies, industries, competitors, and market trends to support pitches, client meetings, and strategic initiatives
- Prepare executive-ready reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses, and competitive intelligence
- Monitor market activity and identify business development opportunities
- Partner with attorneys and business development teams to support client growth strategies
- Leverage research platforms and AI tools to deliver timely, actionable insights
- Research informs strategic business decisions and client development efforts
- Intelligence is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time
- Market insights uncover new opportunities and strengthen business development initiatives
Salary Range: $100, annually, based on experience
Location: New York, NY - Hybrid
