A well established and growing design-build construction company is hiring a Senior Estimator to own the budgeting process from initial concept through final contract pricing. This is a rare seat that combines estimating, design, and direct client relationships in one role, built for someone who has spent their career doing both and been asked to pick just one. • Walk new client spaces, gather existing plans and equipment lists, and capture the concept and target budget
• Scan spaces using modern capture tools and produce accurate first-draft layouts
• Write design and mechanical narratives alongside senior leadership
• Lead subcontractor walkthroughs, collect trade pricing, and price finish materials with suppliers
• Review and present budgets internally and directly to clients, incorporating feedback
• Update budgets at each design milestone, tracking every change through to the final contract number
• Help build and maintain the company’s internal pricing database and cost benchmarks

• Years of pricing and building commercial interiors; restaurant construction experience strongly preferred
• Design-build background is ideal
• Strong drafting ability; your test-fit layouts should read as competent to an architect
• Comfort pricing from incomplete information using named allowances
• Confidence running a budget review that clients and subcontractors both respect
• Ability to manage multiple active budgets against real deadlines using a system
