Senior Business Development Manager

A highly regarded law firm with a leading Litigation and Intellectual Property practice is seeking a Senior Manager to join their team.

This is a practice-facing role that partners with attorneys and business leaders to drive business development, client growth, market positioning, and new business opportunities across Litigation and related practices. Responsibilities include managing pitches and proposals, supporting client development initiatives, conducting market research, and advancing thought leadership efforts.

• Partner with practice leaders and attorneys to execute business development strategies that drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance market visibility across Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Antitrust practices.
• Lead pitches, proposals, RFPs, and pursuit opportunities, developing compelling content and coordinating cross-functional input to win new business.
• Support key client and prospect development initiatives, including account planning, client targeting, cross-selling opportunities, and relationship management.
• Conduct market, industry, client, and competitor research to deliver actionable insights and identify emerging business opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to support thought leadership, events, webinars, client alerts, rankings, and other visibility initiatives.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to attorneys and practice leaders, tracking business development efforts, driving follow-through, and contributing to overall growth objectives.

This position is a hybrid role (3 days in-office) and could be positioned in New York or DC.
