Volta Health is a venture-backed seed stage startup building the first operating system for student health, automating compliance and billing for universities across the country.

As the second PM at Volta Health, you will lead the billing and RCM product line, scaling it from an early proof-of-concept into a robust system for dozens of institutions. You’ll own the vision for claim submissions, payer integrations, and AI-powered clinical documentation while collaborating with a distributed engineering pod to transform legacy healthcare operations.

• Own an entire product line from v1 to scale, shaping the strategy for revenue cycle management and AI-assisted clinical coding in a high-impact domain.
• Join a revenue-generating, venture-backed startup at the seed stage, offering the rare combination of early-stage equity upside and real-world traction.
• Work on load-bearing infrastructure that directly improves healthcare access for students, replacing antiquated manual processes with modern, automated software solutions.

• Lead the Billing/RCM pod's roadmap, defining how university health centers submit claims, track reimbursements, manage denials, and reconcile payments.
• Architect deep integrations with clearinghouses and insurance carriers, managing complex EDI transaction flows (837/835/270/271) and eligibility verification systems.
• Develop and refine an AI-powered scribe product that translates clinical encounters into accurate CPT and ICD codes, optimizing the human-in-the-loop review process.

• Has 5-10+ years of product management experience with a deep technical specialization in healthcare billing, claims processing, or RCM infrastructure.
• Demonstrates expert fluency in healthcare data standards including HL7, FHIR, and EDI, with hands-on experience navigating payer and clearinghouse integration logic.
• Possesses a builder's mindset, thriving in high-autonomy environments where they can read code, discuss API design with engineers, and ship iteratively.
