The Category Operations Project Intern role is responsible for supporting the scaling of the category through leading cross-function initiatives, and driving topline revenue growth for Tik Tok's US Commerce business.
As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real‑world challenges, and explore your career interests.

Responsibilities:
- Data and analytics support:
Support operational analysis for merchant acquisition and incubation, including business data tracking, operating metric monitoring, and routine data analysis, helping the team identify opportunities and issues in merchant acquisition and incubation.
- Project and process advancement:
Participate in key operations and project follow‑up such as industry merchant acquisition, sales activation, and merchant growth, and promote cross‑team information alignment and process collaboration.
- Business management support:
Support the organization and delivery of materials such as weekly business reports and business review documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, with strong data analysis and logical thinking skills.
- Reliable and responsible, with strong learning ability and execution capability, and able to efficiently advance multiple tasks in parallel.
- Internship availability:
Able to intern 5 days per week; candidates who can intern continuously for more than 6 months are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internships in consulting, strategy, business analysis, or marketing.
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.

- Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year.
- Paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
- Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
