We are looking for a detail-driven Sales Operations Specialist to own the order book behind Db’s North American wholesale business.
This is a hands-on role at the centre of how our US retail accounts get served. You will run the US B2B order book in our ERP, keep our EDI-connected retail accounts compliant and shipping on time, and be Db’s operational contact in the US time zone.
You will join at a good moment. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is our ERP, we use SPS Commerce for EDI, and the integration between them is being built now. You will help bring our key accounts onto that connection and shape how the process works from there.
As our first operations hire in the US, you will have real ownership early. We care as much about how you work as what you have done, and we are looking for someone who is accurate when work is repetitive, who follows things through without being asked, and who notices when details do not line up.
What you will do Order book and sales operationsOwn the US B2B order book: order entry, confirmation, allocation and processing in Business Central.
Coordinate shipping windows and fulfilment priorities with our US 3PL. Build and document the processes behind US order management. Support Finance with billing data, credit checks and invoice accuracy for US accounts.
EDI and retailer complianceManage the day-to-day EDI connections with our US retail accounts in SPS Commerce. Set up and maintain item, pricing and product data so transmissions run cleanly. Monitor transmissions, resolve errors, and work with IT on integration issues. Manage routing guide, labelling and ASN requirements per account.
Monitor and dispute chargebacks. Support testing and UAT as accounts go live.
3PL, day to day- Act as the contact for our US 3PL during US hours. Follow up orders and shipments, handle exceptions, coordinate returns, and raise performance issues with the evidence behind them.
- Align with our global Sales Operations team in Norway on where US process should differ from global practice and where it should not. Partner with IT on systems and integration work. Collaborate with the US sales team.
2 - 4 years in wholesale operations, order management, or sales operations, at a US consumer brand.
Experience processing B2B orders for US retail accounts in an ERP, and working directly with retailer requirements. US retailer compliance is its own discipline and we are not expecting to teach it from scratch.
Comfortable working with data across systems, and strong in Excel.
Clear written communication, and comfortable across time zones. Your manager and most of your colleagues are in Norway, six hours ahead.
Organised and self-directed. You will be the only operations person in your time zone.
PreferredHands-on experience in an EDI platform, ideally SPS Commerce.
Familiarity with routing guides, ASN and chargebacks.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Experience with 3PL contracts or people management is not required for this role, though both may become relevant as the US business grows.
What we offerThe opportunity to work with a passionate and international team.
A dynamic, fast-paced work environment where your input makes a real impact.
Real ownership from the start, and a clear path to broader scope. As North America scales, this role is the natural place for wider operational and commercial responsibility to sit, and we would rather grow that with you than hire over you.
Proper support in your first year: a scheduled daily overlap with the team in Norway, a named person responsible for your development, and a structured onboarding plan.
Competitive compensation and benefits package.
Employee discounts on Db products.
