Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in the intersection of business strategy, technology and AI; and how AI can be used responsibly in a business environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools and interest in applying them to real-world business challenges
  • Some exposure to coding, AI platforms, or data tools - willingness to learn counts
  • Comfortable with data and using it to tell a story; interest and/or experience in building dashboards and visualizations a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High integrity, professionalism, and discretion
  • Proactive, curious, and adaptable mindset
  • Interest in responsible AI and emerging technologies
Education
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Information Systems, or a related field that bridges business and technology
  • Graduation date of June 2028 – June 2029
  • Ability for full program:
    June 7th - August 13th, 2027
Responsibilities

Work with the CAO’s Chief of Staff to deliver high-quality strategic, operational, and AI-driven work across a dynamic range of enterprise priorities.

  • Create polished executive communications, memos, and event briefs for senior leaders
  • Use AI tools to build smarter workflows and improve how work gets done across the CAO office
  • Build dashboards and reports that help senior leaders make informed decisions
  • Spot opportunities to simplify work, solve problems, and strengthen day-to-day operations
  • Support high-priority events, from briefing prep to post-event follow-up
  • Conduct research and analysis that supports strategic initiatives and leadership priorities
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Collaborate with teams and leaders on high-impact projects across Moody’s
About The Team

The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) sits at the center of Moody’s, bringing together technology, cybersecurity, risk, resilience, and global operations to help move the business forward. As an intern, you’ll work on meaningful projects, gain exposure to senior leaders, and build skills at the intersection of business strategy, AI, and enterprise transformation.

Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June – August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills.

Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth.
