We are growing and looking for a full-time Senior Merchandiser
!

Please note: this is an on-site position in Midtown Manhattan where we work in office 5 days/week!

• Lead brand and product strategy - from concept phase with design through execution at store level, including long range strategy setting, seasonal strategy, and line-planning
• Identify business opportunities and risks in season through analyzing and communicating sales performance gathering marketplace information
• Partner with Design team to ensure design vision is captured while meeting and exceeding revenue and profit goals
• Understand the target customer archetypes, informed by a deep knowledge of the consumer and competitive landscape and in support of the brand priorities
• Identify growth opportunities validated by analytics, commercial hindsight learnings, and global market research
• Accountable for financial performance by monitoring sales, identifying losses, competitive analysis regarding pricing, profit, marketing, etc
• Oversee seasonal brand merchandising strategies and assortment presentations to commercial and cross functional partners
• Create clear product briefs for all new developments; clearly articulating target customer, competitive benchmarks and product attributes
• Maintain knowledge of industry/market trends through business, competitive analysis and a synthesis of commercial feedback and input
• Strengthen the talent of the company by leading peers, promoting successful partnerships, and managing effective and diverse teams

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or relevant area
• 5+ years of experience in merchandising or relevant experience
• High intelligence with a true entrepreneurial risk mentality, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Acute sense of brand and customer intimacy
• Acute fashion sense with proven talent to envision and interpret fashion trends
• Proficient in conflict management and problem-solving
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Demonstrated ability in communication, presentation, negotiating and influencing skills
• Systems and computer proficiency (MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

Target compensation for this role starts at $75k dependent on experience
