Summary
The Strategy & Business Planning Director leads the development and execution of the Wines & Spirits business roadmap, translating strategy into actionable commercial and financial plans. This role partners cross-functionally with commercial, finance, insights, operations, and Maison teams to drive portfolio growth, pricing optimization, and go-to-market initiatives. The director delivers data-driven recommendations and oversees budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting to support long-term revenue and profit objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and landing deliverables in partnership with FP&A and commercial teams.
- Develop data-driven commercial plans, pricing strategies, and go-to-market approaches for innovations and limited editions.
- Conduct brand and portfolio performance analysis and establish overarching business and brand KPIs.
- Identify market and consumer growth opportunities through analysis with Business Insights, Analytics, and Commercial teams.
- Partner with senior leaders to prioritize strategic initiatives including portfolio strategy and SKU rationalization.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis, finance, or business intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan, SAP, Nielsen, or similar systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management capabilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
