Spade

- Agent Platform
in New York, NY
. This full-time role offers a salary of USD 185,000–220,000 per year and the chance to build a new AI-powered product line from the ground up.

About Spade

Financial institutions process billions of daily transactions across cards, ACH, wires, and third-party aggregators — yet much of that data remains messy and difficult to use. Descriptions are inconsistent, merchant names don't match, and categories vary by payment type. Spade solves this by turning unstructured transaction strings into verified, structured records that teams can act on across authorization, attribution, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Spade leads the market in merchant coverage, matching accuracy, geolocation data, and speed of transaction enrichment. Customers including FIS, Bilt, Mercury, and Stripe trust Spade's data to power personalized rewards programs, accurate spending rules, precise analytics, and innovative AI-powered features.

The Opportunity:

Product Manager
- Agent Platform

As the first PM dedicated to the Agent and Console products, you will shape what agent-powered solutions look like at a company already renowned for industry-leading data quality. Working closely with the CEO, data, and engineering teams, you will own the platform that brings Spade's numerous products together in one place for customers. This role is ideal for an AI-first PM who wants high ownership and the chance to build a new product line from zero.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Agent, Console, and enrichment tool product verticals alongside engineering and data science teams to deliver high-quality products on time
  • Build out new agent-related capabilities across an expanding product suite
  • Engage directly with customers — through sales and your own conversations — to gather feedback that shapes the roadmap
  • Partner with engineering to define the platform's UX/UI
  • Own end-to-end roadmap execution, from priority-setting through delivery
  • Collaborate with product marketing to coordinate launches and ongoing marketing efforts
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Proven track record launching B2B software products end-to-end, from early ideation through delivery and iteration
  • Experience building AI- or LLM-powered products
  • Expertise leveraging AI to accelerate product development cycles

Strong technical fluency: ability to partner with engineers, understand API-first products, and make informed trade-off decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Based in NYC with the ability to work from the Flatiron office at least 2 days per week
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Previous roles at a startup (Seed to Series C)
  • Background in the fintech sector
  • Building products where banks or credit unions are primary users
  • AI-first product development in enterprise settings
Application Tips for Product Management Candidates
  • Showcase AI product metrics: Highlight specific KPIs from AI or LLM products you have shipped — such as latency reductions, model accuracy improvements, or user adoption rates. Quantifiable impact matters in financial services.
  • Demonstrate API fluency: Spade's platform is API-first. Prepare to discuss how you have previously defined API contracts, prioritized developer experience, and balanced technical debt with feature delivery in B2B SaaS environments.
  • Highlight fintech regulatory awareness: Financial services demand rigorous compliance. If you have experience navigating PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or banking regulations in past product roles, make this prominent in your application materials.
  • Prepare a product teardown: Be…
