Agency MissionMTA Construction & Development (C&D) is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of all capital construction projects across the MTA region. Through centralized oversight and management of the MTA’s $64 billion Capital Program, C&D ensures the efficient delivery of critical infrastructure projects that support the region’s vast transportation network. As part of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the largest transportation network in North America, C&D plays a key role in modernizing and expanding services that support 15.3 million residents across New York City, Long Island, southeastern New York State, and Connecticut.

This position is eligible for telework, which is currently one day per week. New hires are eligible to apply 30 days after their effective date of hire.
SummaryThe Senior Program Support Administrator partners with senior management and staff and provides information, analyses, and recommendations that support sound managerial decision-making and strategic planning. This position requires excellent analytical skills to evaluate, integrate data, develop conclusions, and support recommendations using complex and dynamic information from multiple sources. Evaluates complex issues with the potential for substantial impact, analyzing various alternatives within the overall organizational context to provide data-driven conclusions and recommendations.

- Typical duties may include, but not be limited to:
- Apply innovative, analytical thinking in developing data sources, ensuring data integrity, developing thorough and creative analyses, and presenting data-driven solutions and recommendations to management.
- Exercise strategic thinking in identifying issues, opportunities, and alternatives; developing proposed solutions, process improvements, or strategies; presenting recommendations; and supporting implementation.
- Develop, maintain, analyze, and present data critical to support sound managerial decision-making, key performance indicators (KPIs), and related dashboards for capital project and departmental management purposes.
- Perform information-gathering, evaluation, research, and data integration from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, completeness, and timeliness.
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed management reports, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and related systems to support managerial oversight of the capital program, project management, departmental personnel, or operations.
- Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to support project delivery and managerial objectives.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information about capital projects, departmental personnel, or operations.
- Support the development and implementation of processes and procedures.
- Support analysis, communication, and implementation of strategies and initiatives to support organizational transformation.
- Coordinate with management and staff throughout the department and other C&D units as needed.
- May serve as lead for a significant program/project(s), initiative, or aspect of departmental operations.
- May support leadership in developing and implementing initiatives, strategic planning, analysis, or reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, Mathematics, or a related field.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
A Master's degree may substitute for two years of the required experience.
