As part of the Mars Petcare family, MVH supports a network of veterinary practices across multiple locations with a focus on delivering value and a sustainable operating model.

Why This Role Matters

The North America Finance Transformation Lead is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for orchestrating and delivering a portfolio of ~120 Finance 2.0 initiatives across Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Payroll within the region. The role coordinates with retained finance teams, operating business units, Digital & Technology, and external partners to ensure disciplined execution, alignment, and value delivery. It also supports the transition to the future operating model, mitigates risks, and embeds sustainable improvements across retained and non-retained finance operations.

Will
  • Portfolio Execution & Regional Orchestration:
    Lead the end-to-end orchestration of a ~120-project Finance 2.0 portfolio across R2R, O2C, P2P, and Payroll with defined milestones and success criteria.
  • Translate objectives from the global PMO into executable regional plans; manage dependencies, sequencing, and critical paths to ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive execution discipline with clear accountability, progress tracking, and risk intervention.
  • Partnership with Global PMO:
    Interface with the global PMO on governance, standards, tools, and reporting; operationalize global methodologies within NA.
  • Provide data-driven insights on regional execution performance, including risks, issues, and dependencies; ensure NA initiatives integrate with the global plan.
  • Productivity Delivery & Value Realization:
    Identify and realize productivity improvements with measurable business value; define benefit metrics and track realization over time.
  • Transition Support & Risk Mitigation:
    Lead transition phases, identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support business continuity during transition.
  • Stakeholder & Resource Coordination:
    Align stakeholders, manage trade-offs, and ensure appropriate resource allocation across a matrixed environment.
  • Transformation Delivery Across All Towers:
    Drive standardized, harmonized finance processes; promote automation and data capabilities; pursue end-to-end process integration.
  • Change Management & Adoption:
    Support readiness, training, communication, and post-implementation adoption; embed continuous improvement.
Your Experience Should Include
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, finance operations, or large-scale program delivery in a global organization.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-project portfolios with interdependencies.
  • Deep expertise in R2R with strong knowledge of O2C, P2P, and Payroll.
  • Experience with shared services (GBS), BPO providers, and technology implementation partners.
  • Successful delivery of ERP or finance transformation programs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
  • Strong program and portfolio management, execution discipline, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to operate as an individual contributor while coordinating across large teams.
  • Analytical and financial acumen with benefits tracking and performance measurement skills.
  • Excellent communication; ability to engage executive stakeholders; adaptability and prioritization skills.
