Business Development Associate - AI & Operations

Job Description About the Role

Companies are investing heavily in AI, yet individual use cases, copilots, and agents do not automatically create systemic operational value. At change2target, we believe the next stage is to transform operations into adaptive, signal-driven systems where humans and intelligent systems continuously sense, decide, and act toward shared objectives. We call this Intelligent Operations. Building on 20 years of experience in operational transformation and almost 10 years in AI-powered automation, we are developing a new technology-enabled approach to make this vision tangible.

We are looking for a Business Development Associate in New York to work directly with our CEO and help us expand our New York business around Intelligent Operations. This is a deliberately designed part-time position of 20 hours per week. It is not a high-volume sales development role. We are looking for someone who can identify the right organizations and executives, understand why a conversation could matter, and create relevant access.

• Research attractive target companies and identify where Intelligent Operations could create meaningful value
• Identify and map relevant senior decision-makers across Operations, Transformation, AI, Digital, Technology, and Enterprise Productivity
• Identify and develop new prospects using the most effective lead-generation sources and approaches
• Approach priority prospects with relevant and individualized outreach and help turn initial interest into qualified conversations
• Prepare concise company and stakeholder briefs for meetings with our CEO
• Ensure professional follow-up and maintain accurate, disciplined pipeline and CRM information
• Support our curated executive format around the future of operations and AI, including participant research, invitations, coordination, and follow-up

• 3–5 years of experience in business development, go-to-market, technology consulting, enterprise software, SaaS, AI, digital transformation, or a related technology-driven B2B environment, ideally with exposure to senior decision-makers
• Strong research and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
• Confidence and professional maturity in approaching and interacting with senior executives
• Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and how they are changing the way organizations operate
• Strong organization, reliability, and follow-through
• Comfort using modern AI tools to improve the quality and efficiency of your own work
• Initiative, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset
