Location: New York
Full time live-out nanny required for a Tribeca family with 2 children starting in March. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties and generally being a helpful presence in the home. The parents are looking to partner with a new nanny long term (current nanny is retiring) and welcome them into their loving, fun and happy home.
The primary focus in the mornings is with the young toddler and the family employs a second nanny for after school/evening hours when both children are at home.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have calm energy, high emotional intelligence and want to partner with a busy, dual working parent household. A playful and engaging personality with great communication skills and a true team player mentality would be a great match for this family! Candidates who value organization, structure and are natural multi taskers are encouraged to apply.
Healthy, whole food meal prep and cooking for the children is required - interest and passion in the kitchen is a must to this family!

March 2026 (flexible start date for the ideal candidate)
Days/times:
Guaranteed 50 hrs/week (likely consistent 50-55 hours a week), Monday through Friday - general hours to land between 7.30am-6pm. Occasional availability on the weekends and ability to flex for additional hours during the week is preferred.

4), one daughter (age
1)
Conditions:
$30 - $35 per hour
* plus monthly OMNY card, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:
- Authorization to work in the US
- An understanding of managing a household with children
- A well-suited demeanor for working with young age children
- Ability and interest to commit long term with the family
- Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
- Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
- Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying/organizing bedroom and play/toy areas, researching and planning playdates and activities, managing schedules and appointment as needed etc)
- An open and flexible schedule and ability to travel with the family 1-2 times per year
- Comfortable working in a partnership/alongside other caregivers
- Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times, reflecting the high standards and values prioritized by the family
- Fluency in both oral and written English
- A minimum of 5 years of childcare experience
