Job Summary:

These are the opportunities that do not come around that often. This lovely young professional couple are looking for a dedicated experienced nanny to start in April next year. Both parents have demanding jobs and are looking for a professional nanny who will take over from the maternity nurse in May. The family have homes in Tribeca New York and Sun Valley, Idaho and enjoy travelling.

They also have an adorable gentle, friendly Portuguese Water Dog who is very much part of the household. Extra information:
The parents lead very active healthy lifestyles and would want a nanny who embraces this. Their home in Idaho is in the beautiful Sun Valley offering a variety of outdoor activities including skiing and hiking. The apartment in New York is in Tribeca in lower Manhattan where everything is accessible by walking.

• Sole charge care
• Responsible for all the normal nursery duties including the baby’s laundry, keeping the nursery tidy and organized
• When the baby is ready – planning and preparing fresh and nutritious meals from scratch
• Supporting the baby’s developmental milestones, including weaning and potty training
• Responsible for researching and planning activities, organising and going to groups, playdates that are age appropriate
• Preparing for travel - packing / unpacking – adjusting to different time zones
• Travelling with the family

• As this is the couple’s first baby, they are seeking a nanny who will guide them on what to exact, someone who is knowledgeable and understands child development
• Someone who is kind and loving but understands boundaries
• A degree of flexibility, accommodating different hours if needed (planned) – the parents run their own companies and have some flexibility
• A nanny who can think outside of the box, while stimulating their baby’s creative and educational development
• Fluent English is required but they family would welcome another language
• Must love dogs
• An interest in nutrition and confident planning /preparing meals from scratch for the child
• Someone who is very active and follows a healthy lifestyle, who can adapt to different time zones and will enjoy travelling
• Although driving is not required in New York it would be required when in Idaho and a car will be available for your use
• Valid U.S. work authorization
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Excellent references from current and previous private employers
