Nanny SoHo, NY Family

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a SoHo family with a toddler (b. Sep 2024), starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their daughter in an engaging, loving and age-appropriate way. To be successful, you will need to be experienced with toddler care, have high emotional IQ and looking to partner with parents who value good communication.

The ideal candidate is able to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state (family has a housekeeper for deep cleans). The ability to work independently and show initiative with engaged wake windows and intentional activity planning is important to this role. This family is a great match for creative and energetic candidates who are prompt and dependable!

Location:

SoHo, NY

Days/times: G uaranteed 40 hours a week with general hours expected to land between 8am - 4pm. Flexibility as needed for additional evening or sporadic weekend hours is required. Ability to travel domestically and internationally with advance notice preferred.

Conditions:

$35 - $40 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee + all hours over 40hr paid at x1.5 rate) plus unlimited monthly metrocard, sick/personal days, public holidays and at least two weeks paid leave per year. Family open to providing healthcare stipend for the perfect candidate.

• Authorization to work in the US
• Clean drivers license (no city driving) strongly preferred, however family open to all strong candidates
• An ideal candidate has at least 7 years experience working with families with young children (with long term tenure)
• A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with toddler
• Demonstrates professionalism and discretion at all times, reflecting the high standards and values prioritized by the family
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence
• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
• A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support a busy, dual working parent household
