The ChildrenNewborn infant girl – arriving end of March
2.5-year-old girl in full-time daycare
The older child is curious, social, and excited to share her world; the infant will need a loving, patient caregiver focused on fostering healthy developmental routines from the beginning. A Newborn Care Specialist will also be in place to help during the early stages.
The FamilyThis warm and growing family is looking for a steady, proactive nanny who thrives in a home that balances structure with a laid‑back, supportive vibe. With a parent working from home most days, communication is open, collaborative, and rooted in mutual respect. The home is calm, friendly, and child-centered, with space for a live-in arrangement if ever needed.
The RoleThis is a full-time, live-out position (with a live-in weekday option if preferred), supporting a household with a busy toddler and a newborn. Mornings and after‑school hours are the “crunch times,” so the family is seeking a nanny who is organized, calm under pressure, and great ponsibilities include:
- Daily infant care, feeding support, tracking schedules
- Driving the infant to classes and activities
- Being home to receive the older daughter off the school bus at 4:30pm
- Light cleaning and household organization
- Simple meal prep for the oldest — cutting fruit, prepping snacks and light meals. Occasionally preparing family meals that can go straight into the oven or fridge.
- Creating a smooth flow between daycare pickup, afternoon play, and dinner‑prep routines
- You are nurturing, deeply dependable, and bring a thoughtful balance of warmth and professionalism into the home. You understand the dynamics of a household welcoming a new infant while supporting a busy toddler’s routine and emotional world. You have a strong foundation in early childhood development, especially with infants, and feel confident establishing schedules, monitoring feeds, and communicating clearly with parents.
- You are fully vaccinated with recent CPR training and a background in Early Childhood Education. Baby sign language is much beloved in the home so a willingness or knowledge of that is appreciated.
- You’re an excellent driver with good judgment and a calm, safety‑first approach both on the road and in the home. You anticipate needs before they arise and bring a natural instinct for keeping a household running smoothly, tidying as you go, prepping snacks with ease, and staying organized without being asked.
- If you’re looking for a long‑term, loving home where your work truly matters and your contributions are valued daily, this may be the perfect match.
Travel is not a required component of this role, but occasional family trips or overnights may arise as the children grow. Flexibility is appreciated but not essential.
The Pay & Benefits$100‑105k per annum, which equates to approx. $40/hr.
Benefits include paid sick days, holidays, vacation time + health insurance stipend if needed.
