Lead​/Group Teacher

As a Lightbridge teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while building strong relationships with families and fellow team members.

• Create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
• Plan and implement age appropriate activities aligned with early childhood education standards
• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and wellbeing
• Foster positive behavior, social skills, and emotional development
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and concerns
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to support center goals
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Complete required documentation and observations accurately and on time

• B.S in Early Childhood Education
• Experience working with young children in a daycare or early childhood setting preferred
• Passion for early childhood education and child development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
• Ability to meet state and center requirements for childcare providers
• Online NYS Mandated Trainings including CPR/First Aid certification
