Child Care/Nanny
Childminder / Nanny, Child Development/Support, After School
Overview
A warm, welcoming family in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, engaging, and proactive Career Nanny to become a long-term part of their household. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and is excited to grow with their family for years to come.
The family has two wonderful children - a bright and independent 13-year-old son and a fun-loving, imaginative 9-year-old daughter and hopes to find a nanny who will provide consistent guidance, encouragement, and support while creating a positive and engaging environment each day. They value honesty, kindness, curiosity, and respect, and are looking for someone who shares those values.
This position offers a split weekday schedule with morning and afternoon/evening coverage. While the schedule is somewhat unique, the family understands this may not suit everyone and is committed to making it work for the right long-term candidate. Additional compensated hours are available for candidates interested in assisting with light housekeeping and household support during the middle of the day.
The family enjoys spending much of the summer at their home on Long Island and would love to find a nanny who is excited to join them during that time. Private accommodations are available, and a family vehicle will be provided if driving is needed. While summer travel is preferred, it is not a requirement of the role.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Morning:
Approximately 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Afternoon/Evening:
Approximately 2:30 PM - 8:00/8:30 PM
Additional compensated hours are available between shifts for candidates interested in assisting with light housekeeping and household support.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny seeking a long-term position with a kind, respectful family who truly values the important role a nanny plays in their children's lives. The family is hoping for an early September start and is excited to welcome the right person into their home.
