The family values respectful parenting, giving children autonomy, treating them with kindness and respect, and supporting their social-emotional development. They are a hands-on family, and the role will include a combination of shared care and sole charge. Their previous nanny was with the family for three years and became an important part of their family.

The family has a second home in the Hamptons and travels internationally several times per year. The nanny should be flexible and comfortable traveling with the family, including for occasional longer stints.

The Ideal Candidate for this Job The ideal candidate is loving, emotionally intelligent, flexible, proactive, physically active, and genuinely passionate about child development. They should understand respectful parenting and be comfortable giving children appropriate autonomy while providing clear boundaries and guidance.

The family is looking for a nanny who will actively engage the boys through creative projects, outdoor activities, sports, cooking, baking, reading, and exploration rather than simply supervising them. Strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly are important, as the family's creative careers can occasionally require last-minute schedule changes.

Spanish is a plus. A nanny who drives is preferred but not required; if driving, the nanny would primarily drive on Long Island.### Schedule The schedule is Monday through Friday, generally falling between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with the exact daily schedule varying based on the family's needs and the children's school schedule.

The family guarantees 55 hours per week, although the nanny will typically work approximately 40–50 hours per week. Flexibility is important, as the family's work schedules can occasionally change with limited notice.

The nanny should also be comfortable traveling with the family approximately 2–3 times per year, including some longer stays.
