As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Advisor in Asphalt & Paving Operations to provide strategic guidance, share industry insights, and help strengthen operational best practices across the platform.
Role OverviewThe Advisor will work closely with leadership to enhance operations, project execution, and overall business performance in the paving and site services industry. This is an advisory role ideal for a seasoned industry professional who has managed or operated at scale and wants to help shape the next generation of paving businesses.
Key Responsibilities- Advise leadership on best practices in paving operations, project management, and equipment utilization.
- Provide guidance on bidding accuracy, cost control, and job profitability.
- Support the development of crew management systems, seasonal planning, and workflow optimization.
- Offer insights on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities in both private and municipal markets.
- Mentor operations and project management teams to strengthen execution and accountability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on strategic initiatives, expansion plans, and process improvements.
- 10+ years of experience in asphalt paving, site work, or related construction services.
- Proven background managing large‑scale paving operations, crews, or contracting businesses.
- Strong understanding of project economics, scheduling, and field operations.
- Ability to advise on operational efficiency, financial discipline, and safety programs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working in a flexible, part‑time advisory capacity with hands‑on involvement as needed.
