Overview
Midsized Manhattan based Construction Company is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent. A minimum of 5+ years of construction related experience as a Construction Superintendent.
The Superintendent reports to the Director of Construction and/or Project Executive and schedules, coordinates, plans and supervises (directs) all field operations on a project. The Superintendent is responsible to direct and supervise subcontractors to assure the requirements of the project are met with respect to safety, schedule, quality control, cost control and customer satisfaction. Overall, the Superintendent is expected to provide construction management and general contracting services that meets the highest level of quality.
Responsibilities• Direct and supervise field operations on a project, coordinating schedules and plans.
• Direct and supervise subcontractors to meet project requirements related to safety, schedule, quality control, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide construction management and general contracting services to achieve high quality outcomes.
Qualifications / Skills- Be a licensed NYC-DOB Construction Superintendent (Preferred).
- Managing site activity.
- Labor relations and union agreements.
- Anticipating and resolving field related issues.
- Establishing and enforcing site schedule requirements.
- Managing site safety and insurance risks.
- Ability to communicate both written and oral.
- Must have a complete knowledge of all safety regulations, and see that all are properly enforced.
- Procore Proficient.
