Construction Estimator

Overview

A well-established NYC-based General Contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Preconstruction team. The firm delivers projects across multiple sectors with a heavy focus on high end commercial interior construction and maintains a strong reputation for quality and long-term client relationships.

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, budgets, and cost estimates from conceptual through GMP
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and scopes for completeness and risk
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor bids
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams during preconstruction and handoff
• Utilize Procore to support estimating and preconstruction workflows

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor in the NYC construction market
• Strong understanding of NYC subcontractor pricing and construction methods
• High end interiors experience preferred

• Proficiency in Procore (required)
• Ability to manage multiple estimates in a fast-paced environment
