Position SummaryProject team member responsible for providing construction project oversight for educational (K‑12 preferred) projects. Duties include interpreting contract documents, ensuring compliance, acting as a technical advisor, mentoring junior staff, and other tasks as required. Responsibilities also include delivering assigned projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Provide construction management oversight during all phases of the project
- Create and maintain project schedules
- Prepare and update cost estimates
- Prepare and maintain project budgets
- Develop and implement project‑specific QA programs
- Manage sub‑consultants and technical resources
- Coordinate and interface with the client and project team
- Prepare bid packages and assist with contractor procurement
- Develop and coordinate project scopes
- Oversee and manage assigned staff
- Develop and prepare extra work order requests and open‑end contract task proposals
- Review and approve contractor invoicing
- Participate in client presentations
- Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Strong in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Strong work ethic; willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- OSHA 30‑hour certification
- 10+ years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager (preference for those with 5+ years of experience on K‑12 school construction projects)
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related accredited program
- CCM or PMP certification
- LEED AP certification
- Experience with city, county, state, or federal agencies
- Project management experience
- Experience with various delivery methods (Design‑Bid‑Build, Design‑Build, CM‑Build, P3)
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
Work is performed in an office and field environment (office ≈ 25%–75% field). Field work requires climbing, walking, and standing at construction sites; may be outdoors in heat, cold, wet, humid, or dry conditions. Some lifting (up to 50 lb) may be required.

Compensation$ – $ annually, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications. The range is a good‑faith estimate based on the described requirements. Salary may vary based on experience.
