The Penta Group is a growing construction and restoration firm specializing in restoration services, general contracting, new development, affordable housing, and supportive housing projects. As we continue expanding our footprint, we are seeking motivated professionals who want to grow their careers with a fast-paced, hands-on team.
Position OverviewThe Assistant / Junior Project Manager will support senior project managers in overseeing restoration and construction projects from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow into a full Project Manager role while gaining exposure to budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing construction and restoration projects throughout all phases
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, contracts, and project documentation
- Attend job site meetings and assist with scheduling updates
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, restoration, or project coordination (internships welcome)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Procore or similar software is a plus)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
