Job Title: Project Manager - Ground-Up Multifamily Residential Construction
Location: White Plains, NY
Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000
Company: Established NYC-Based General Contractor
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY
An established Westchester based general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead a ground-up multifamily residential development in Westchester. This is a key leadership role offering full project ownership from preconstruction through closeout with a firm recognized for its consistent delivery of quality residential buildings across Westchester.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all phases of the construction process, from preconstruction through final turnover
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and logistics plans
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders with support from APM and project engineers
- Coordinate closely with architects, consultants, ownership, and field teams
- Monitor progress against milestones and resolve issues to maintain momentum
- Conduct site visits, lead meetings, and ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Drive project closeout, turnover packages, and final inspections
- 5+ years of experience managing ground-up multifamily or residential construction in NYC
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong command of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software
Deep knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB inspections, and local subcontractor market - OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
Competitive Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 (commensurate with experience)
