The Construction Estimator is pivotal to the success of our national projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for Michilli's clients.

Leveraging your extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards, you will analyze project plans, specifications, and proposals to develop comprehensive estimates that guide budgeting and decision-making. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are accurately reflected in your estimates. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solicit and evaluate bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers; ensure scope alignment.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable execution. Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and business development during bid and proposal phases.
  • Assist with proposal development and technical narratives in coordination with Marketing.
  • Participate in project handoffs, including job kick-off meetings, to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to operations.
  • Visit job sites as needed to support estimating efforts or resolve pricing discrepancies.
