Nordes US Corporation is a dynamic construction management and maintenance company, part of a Spanish holding group founded in 1997. We specialize in HVAC maintenance, small refurbishments, and construction management across the United States.
As Junior Project Manager, you will oversee our refurbishments and will help to coordinate daily operations of the construction department.
General Accountabilities- Assist in managing design, development and construction documents since conception to finish.
- To effectively manage Architects, general contractors, specialty vendors, and other professionals providing services for construction projects.
- Knowledge of all project documents, including but not limited to construction documents, specifications, GC contracts, purchase orders, standard daily correspondence forms, submittals, RFI’s.
- Understanding of basic Lease terms.
- Oversee the permitting process from initial approvals to final Certificate of Occupancy
- Coordination of consultants, meetings and drawings for the job.
- Perform construction bids and manage award process with headquarters.
- Develop project budgets and project schedule tasks and deadlines.
- Interface with other members of team to ensure accuracy with outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Maintain daily logs. Track and report on project milestones and provide reports to management.
- Maintain project tracking spreadsheet.
- Ensure all project documents are stored and tracked on a timely basis.
- Attend meetings and produce meeting minutes.
- 3+ years of project management experience in retail construction.
- Experience with Auto Cad, Revit, Quick Books, and Excel are a plus.
- Must be able to read construction and shop drawings
- Construction administration experience is a must.
- Experience in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced/entrepreneurial environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
Job Qualifications- Education:
Professional college degree (engineering or construction management preferred). - Experience:
3 years of work experience in construction.
