• Performing take‑offs: accurately measure and quantify materials needed for projects.
• Creating shop drawings: develop detailed drawings that reflect project specifications and requirements.
• Preparing submittal packages: compile and present necessary documents for client approval and project execution.

• Industry experience: must have a proven background in the commercial door industry.
• Vendor relationships: established contacts with major manufacturers such as Wayne Dalton, Rytec, Overhead Door Company, Raynor Door, Lift Master, Chamberlain, Janus International, and similar national brands.
• Technical skills: proficiency in estimation software and shop drawing creation.
