What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking a Construction Scheduler to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY. This role requires regular attendance in New York, NY.

We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
What you'll be challenged to do:As a Scheduler, you will play a key role in planning and tracking progress across a range of construction projects including in‑unit kitchen and bathroom renovations, MEP system upgrades, elevator replacements, and phased work that may involve resident relocations. Your ability to analyze complex schedules, identify potential delays, and communicate clearly with all project stakeholders will be essential to the success of our work with NYCHA.
You will help ensure projects remain on track by conducting detailed schedule reviews, preparing time impact analyses, and providing the documentation needed to support claims and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Conduct thorough schedule reviews and analyze critical paths and float
- Prepare time impact analyses (TIAs) and supporting documentation for delay claims
- Generate reports on schedule performance and issues affecting project progress
- Communicate schedule findings and risks to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, superintendents, and design consultants
- Lead and participate in scheduling meetings with contractors and client representatives
- Ensure schedules reflect the scope of work, phasing requirements, and any resident relocation plans
- Monitor updates and revisions, evaluating their effect on overall project timelines
- Support dispute resolution efforts through schedule‑based documentation and analysis
- BS in Construction Management or related Engineering Degree required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction scheduling for multifaceted projects
- Prior or current experience working with NYCHA projects is required
- NYSCA or DASNY experience a plus
- Familiarity with NYDEP projects a plus
- Proven track record with projects involving renovations, MEP upgrades, elevator work, and phased construction
- Strong proficiency with Primavera P6
- Ability to perform and present detailed schedule reviews and TIAs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain scheduling issues to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience leading meetings and coordinating across cross‑functional project teams
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines
- AECE PSP Preferred
- Familiarity with Acumen Fuse is a plus
The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $155,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
