Superintendent, Construction

• Stable and complex projects;
  Strong $600M+ backlog across NYC's 5 boroughs and NJ, enough work projected until 2031. Projects ranging from $20M - $500M+ in heavy civil construction (bridge, highway, rail, roads, complex underground utilities).
• Progression;
  Develops into a General Superintendent, regional oversight of large-scale projects. Options to transition into operations and project management.

• Location;
  Backlog is located across the 5 boroughs, you will be likely working out of the Bronx or Downtown. Depending on your commute.
• Compensation;
  Strong base (Salary), Stipend, profit-sharing 401k, Medical, toll card, gas card, expense card, bonuses up to 30%, raised in October, $5K annual development budget (used for courses, tuition etc.).
• Safety record:
  Stronger than average safety record with exceptional investment in a strong Safety program,

• Overseeing field operations on complex heavy civil construction projects across NYC.
• Meeting with clients, owners and safety officials.
• Mentoring Crews, Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers.
• Managing daily work schedules, allocating resources, and supervising site foremen and trade workers.
• Enforcing health and safety policies (e.g., PPE, OSHA protocols), identifying hazards, and conducting safety walkthroughs.

• 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction (Contracting side), a minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent.
• Previous oversight experience on highway, bridge or underground utilities experience.
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30 Certifications
• A valid driving license.
