We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety standards, implementing safety programs, and promoting a safe working environment across construction projects.
- Develop, implement, and monitor construction safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to maintain safety standards
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees and site personnel
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry safety regulations and standards
- Prepare safety documentation, reports, and risk assessments
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety
- Master’s degree in Construction Management, Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and risk management practices
- Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA and workplace safety protocols
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to assess risks and implement preventive measures
- Familiarity with safety reporting and documentation tools
- Professional certifications in safety management (OSHA, NEBOSH, CSP, CHST, or equivalent)
- Experience with construction site safety inspections and audits
- Knowledge of incident investigation and hazard assessment techniques
- Understanding of project management and construction workflows
- Experience working in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
