About the Company
Our client is a well-established commercial construction firm known for delivering high-quality projects across a diverse portfolio. With a strong reputation for execution, client service, and long-term relationships, the company continues to grow and is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to join the team.
Position OverviewThe Site Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will play a critical leadership role coordinating subcontractors, managing site logistics, and driving project execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities- Manage all on-site construction activities and daily field operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify potential delays
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily site meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders
- Review drawings, specifications, and field conditions to resolve issues quickly
- Monitor quality control and ensure work meets company and client expectations
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports and progress tracking
- Build strong working relationships with clients, project managers, architects, and trade partners
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site coordination
- Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage multiple trades simultaneously
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ground-up and/or interior commercial projects preferred
- OSHA certification strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Base salary between $130,000 and $180,000
