Clune Construction is seeking a Superintendent to oversee all aspects of its on‑site construction projects, including site access, scheduling, logistics, safety, quality, and construction management.
Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the project plan from pre‑construction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain accurate project schedules and weekly field updates.
- Manage the field team, trade partners, and owner vendors with proactive communication.
- Identify and resolve on‑site challenges promptly to minimize cost impact.
- Represent and enforce Clune’s safety culture and OSHA standards, leading safety meetings and documentation.
- Oversee the close‑out process: inspections, punch list completion, equipment commissioning, and owner/vendor training.
- Collaborate with the project management team on general conditions, labor requirements, and financial commitments.
- Utilize Clune’s systems and technology to work efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Participate in business development and client relationship management through industry events and networking.
- Mentor and develop interns, project engineers, and assistant superintendents, serving as a role model.
- Supervise assistant superintendents, project engineers, field assistants, and interns.
- 6–15 years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare, or mission‑critical projects (or equivalent education and experience).
- Strong command of pre‑construction scheduling, logistics, and planning.
- Proficient in creating project schedules and weekly look‑ahead plans.
- Experience coordinating budgeting, field operations, quality control, and trade scheduling.
- Solid background in construction trades and technical knowledge.
- Proficiency with scheduling software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and open communication on the project site.
- Ability to resolve on‑site challenges and mentor field personnel.
- Strong time‑management and prioritization skills, thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or
Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

$108,000 – $155,000 annually, depending on experience.
