Location: New York
The salary range for this position is $96,000 to $184,000 depending on experience.

, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Manager - Job Order Contracting to join our Mount Vernon, NY office.
WDF Incorporated is a specialty mechanical contractor in the New York metropolitan area, providing services in HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler, and specialty general construction for both public and private sectors.
Responsibilities- Prepare, monitor, and control project budget, costs, and projections to ensure overall project profitability and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure procurement of required materials and requisition of necessary equipment and labor resources to efficiently and effectively complete construction projects.
- Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors, and market and secure additional work with the client; responsible for the project change management process.
- Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
- Monitor/control construction process through direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate and identify all potential impacts and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure productivity of subcontractors, efficient use of materials and equipment, and overall schedule of the project.
- Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities.
- Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
- Represent company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations and strategy meetings.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company interests while maintaining good client relationships.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution and 10 or more years of building construction experience.
- Five or more years of Project Management experience managing multiple construction projects.
- Experience/knowledge with Job Order Contracting (JOC), unit pricing, and requirement pricing.
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
- Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) and industry software (Procure, Bluebeam, Primavera, Estimating Software).
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
