Our client is hiring a Superintendent for one of the most technically demanding affordable housing projects currently underway in New York City.

The project is a ground-up, high-performance new construction development. It s 100% affordable and supportive housing with on-site services, part of a larger multi-phase master plan.
What you ll do:
- Lead all field operations across two mid-rise buildings simultaneously
- Manage subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and inspections to protect a hard completion date
- Enforce high-performance construction standards — airtight sequencing, third-party testing, and certification protocols built into daily workflow
- Maintain rigorous QC documentation and safety compliance across a large active site
- Coordinate with ownership, design team, and third-party certifiers throughout construction
- Support master plan continuity — this phase sets the standard for what follows
What you bring:
- NYC DOB Licensed Superintendent required
- 8+ years as a Superintendent on ground-up, multi-story residential or mixed-use projects
- Experience with high-performance envelope, energy-efficient construction, or third-party certified building standards strongly preferred
- Proven track record managing complex schedules with hard deadlines
- Affordable or supportive housing experience a plus
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field a plus
