We deliver Intelligent, Creative Solutions through innovative approaches to Construction Management and General Contracting across the New York Metro area, including the 5 Boroughs of NYC, Long Island, Westchester, Central and Northern NJ, and Southern CT.
We are looking for a Full-Time Construction Estimator who shares our commitment to doing things the right way: accurate, accountable, and always looking one step ahead. This role is ideal for an estimating professional who takes pride in attention to detail and understands the unique demands of interior installations and renovations, as well as new building construction principally across the healthcare, mid- to large-scale retail, and industrial warehouse/distribution facilities sectors.
This is an office-based position that also involves field visits.
In this role, you will be a key voice at the table from day one, helping us win and shape the projects that define our pipeline and our reputation.
What you’ll do- Develop detailed, accurate estimates and complete bid proposals for healthcare, retail, and industrial/warehouse projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to provide clear, well-supported takeoffs and pricing recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, securing competitive and reliable pricing.
- Partner closely with preconstruction and project management teams to ensure a smooth handoff from estimate to execution.
- Identify value engineering options that protect quality while respecting our clients’ budgets and schedules.
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
- Proven estimating experience in healthcare, mid-to-large-scale retail, and industrial warehouse/distribution projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, current market pricing, and labor and material trends.
- Proficiency with estimating and digital takeoff software, and strong Excel skills.
