Project Superintendent – Trane Technologies, Latham, NY
Trane Technologies is hiring a Project Superintendent to support the Construction Project Manager in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the company’s quality standards. The role includes supervising onsite teams, managing subcontractors, overseeing project logistics, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Act as the onsite project superintendent/coordinator for assigned projects across the Upstate NY area.
- Lead and manage onsite team and subcontractors, providing daily updates to the project manager.
- Coordinate meetings, progress reports, and oversee job site logistics, daily work activities, customer interactions, and subcontractor progress.
- Order material for projects, manage onsite material, reconcile shipments, and coordinate delivery with subcontractors.
- Manage independent projects and assignments as workload dictates.
- Support multiple Construction Project Managers with assigned projects.
- Six years of construction industry experience; or a two‑year degree from a technical college with four years of construction experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient at reading plans and specifications; familiar with project schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations. This includes but is not limited to DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions in the previous 3 years.
