Role DescriptionSD Builders and Construction LLC seeks a diligent and organized Assistant Project Manager for a full‑time, on‑site position in New York, NY. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in coordinating construction projects, managing logistics, overseeing inspections, expediting permits, and supporting project management tasks. The role involves close collaboration with various teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining SD's high‑quality standards.
Qualifications- Experience in Expediting and familiarity with working as an Expeditor in construction projects
- Strong Project Management skills for overseeing tasks, schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Demonstrated ability in Inspection processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordinating supplies, materials, and subcontractors
- Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential
- Proficiency with project management software and tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in residential construction or affordable housing projects is an advantage
