Are you a seasoned construction professional with a passion for leading successful projects from inception to completion? Are you skilled at coordinating on-site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high-quality workmanship? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
Responsibilities- Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, making real-time adjustments to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor and control project budgets, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and minimizing potential overruns.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and hazard‑free work environment for all on‑site personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest level of workmanship and quality throughout the project.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to address project challenges and provide progress updates.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and change orders.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring the project's success.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, mentoring and guiding team members to maximize their potential.
- 10 years experience
- NYCDOB Registration
- NYC DOB SST Card
- OSHA 30
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on‑site teams.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Detail‑oriented with exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Salary: $105,000 – $125,000
