Job Description
We are a General Contractor working on various projects throughout the five boroughs. We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to support our project team in coordinating day-to-day construction operations, subcontractor management, documentation, and project closeout.
ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers and field staff to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all contract requirements.
Qualifications- Prior public works experience in construction project coordination or project management is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with Procore, Sage, or similar construction software is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction documentation and processes is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Position and hourly rate will be determined based on skills, credentials and experience.
