Preconstruction Manager

Schreiber Excavating is searching for a full-time Preconstruction Manager in Ontario, NY. If you've got the talent, we've got the opportunity!

• $60,000-$65,000 based on experience and performance-based bonus opportunities

Each day as our Preconstruction Manager, you'll analyze plans and specifications, perform accurate quantity takeoffs, build detailed estimates, and assemble complete bid packages while coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure no scope is missed. You'll generate RFIs, identify risks, elevate issues before submission, maintain organized files and estimating systems, prepare bid and handoff documentation, assist with change order pricing, and support field teams, playing a key role in delivering successful projects from concept through execution.

This is a full-time role with an average schedule of approximately 45 hours per week.

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience in construction, sitework, or field operations
• Experience in estimating or preconstruction

• Experience using estimating or takeoff software is strongly preferred
