You will serve as a critical field leader responsible for driving the successful execution of complex heavy civil sitework and utility infrastructure projects.

You will have the autonomy to manage daily field operations while being supported by an experienced leadership team.
This is not a fit for candidates whose experience is primarily residential construction, vertical/general contracting, DOT‑only roadway work, utility‑company work, or NYC‑only urban work without significant open‑site earthwork experience.
How You Will Make An Impact- Supervise daily field operations and field crews on heavy civil sitework and underground utility projects.

- Support roadway and site access work, including subgrade preparation, paving coordination, and finishing work where applicable.
- Enforce quality control standards and ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
- Maintain a safe job site and enforce company safety policies.
- Communicate clearly with project managers, ownership, field crews, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Help keep projects moving by identifying field issues early and driving practical solutions.

- Strong working knowledge of earthwork, trenching, grading, drainage, sewer, water, and storm utility installation.
- Ability to read plans, understand specifications, and coordinate work in the field.
- Hands‑on understanding of survey, layout, elevations, and grade control.
- Experience managing self‑performed crews, equipment, materials, and daily production.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead experienced field teams.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable ability to travel to job sites.
- 5+ years of heavy civil/sitework field leadership experience.
- Experience with GPS/GNSS machine control or machine guidance systems.
- Experience with large open‑site development, land clearing, blasting/rock conditions, or utility infrastructure upgrades.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Project, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience working in Westchester, the lower Hudson Valley, or surrounding northern county markets.
- Crews are productive, organized, and clear on daily priorities.
- Earthwork and utility operations are sequenced efficiently.
- Field issues are identified early and communicated before they become delays.
- Work is completed safely, accurately, and to specification.
- Project managers and ownership can rely on you to own the field execution.
- You bring a flexible, accountable field‑leadership mindset, including the…
