Superintendent – Tutor Perini Corporation

Salary range: $160,000 to $220,000 depending on experience. (No staffing agency candidates will be considered.)

We are a family of civil construction companies supporting critical infrastructure across the nation. Our projects include highways, bridges, mass‑transit systems, and water management facilities.

Desired candidate will supervise construction on a high‑profile project in Midtown Manhattan, ensuring quality, schedule, and safety objectives are met while coordinating with subcontractors, owners, and project management.

• Supervise construction effort to ensure compliance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise on‑site functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).
• Ensure compliance of crafts and subcontractors with contract documents, proper use of materials and equipment, and timely performance of the project schedule.
• Provide technical assistance: interpret drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment.
• Assist project management in developing project schedule, site logistics plan, and implementing project procedures, working documents, and standards.
• Support Site Specific Safety Plan and coordinate with on‑site owner employees.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication.

• Four‑year engineering, construction management, or related degree from an accredited institution desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 20 years of field supervisory experience, including at least 10 years as a Superintendent on projects with budgets of $200million or more.
• Experience in new building and/or structural construction (piles, concrete, structural steel, etc.).
• Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
• Experience with City, State, Federal Government clients preferred.
• Familiarity with contract management, local trade/unions/craft, MS Word, Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy Bid.
• OSHA certification and First Aid certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
