Special Inspector - Concrete Construction

About the Role

Concrete construction Special Inspector to provide on‑site concrete – rebar, and concrete placement special inspection per building code requirements and act as a visible, professional, collaborative representative of the company at project construction sites.

• Review concrete placement
• Act as a collaborative, problem‑solving representative of the company on the construction site
• Coordinate with design engineers in office
• Review construction documents and shop drawings
• Provide written field reports

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Structural or other Construction related field
• ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector (CCSI) and/or PE required
• 3+ years of recent inspection experience, preferably with an emphasis on rebar and concrete placement inspection
• Inspection experience in other types of construction also a plus – post‑tensioning, masonry, steel, etc

• Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in MS Word, Adobe and/or Bluebeam, Procore

Anticipated Salary Range: base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 plus significant overtime opportunities.
