Location: New York

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client communication, and overall project execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement logs
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
  • Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and leadership
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements
  • Track project costs and assist with forecasting and billing processes
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and vendor relationships
  • Identify and resolve project issues proactively to maintain schedule and budget
  • Support project closeout activities including punch lists, turnover documents, and final inspections
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience managing ground‑up and/or interior fit‑out commercial projects
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • OSHA certification preferred
