Construction Project Manager Montrose, NY (Onsite)
Emerging Tech is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to provide onsite project management and oversight for construction, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects at the Montrose VA Medical Center in Montrose, New York.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with VA requirements, federal regulations, contract specifications, and industry standards.
This is a full-time onsite position with an anticipated start date of August 3, 2026. The base period of performance is two years, with the possibility of extension.
Required Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable federal background investigation and security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare, or federal construction projects from planning through closeout
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, and Share Point
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time at the Montrose VA Medical Center
- Previous experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal construction projects
- Experience managing construction projects in active hospitals, medical centers, or healthcare facilities
- Knowledge of VA construction standards, infection control requirements, Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and working in occupied healthcare environments
- PMP, CCM, OSHA 30, LEED, or other relevant construction certifications
