Construction Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for collaborating with field leadership to ensure the successful completion of projects as well as complete project quantity take-offs and project estimating. This position will be responsible for the creation, organization, execution, and completion of many types of Heavy-Highway projects. This includes managing relevant employees, setting deadlines, communicating with the Construction Manager about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting, if necessary, to meet new requirements.

Responsibilities/
Job Duties:
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating necessary resources.
- Delegating tasks on the project(s) to employees best positioned to complete them.
- Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
- Assisting in developing and defining project scope and goals.
- Communicating with Construction Division Manager to keep the projects aligned with their goals.
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the expected standards.
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed.
- Motivating employees and encouraging a positive work environment.
- Project Estimating
- Maintain and enhance relationships with contractors and stakeholders to foster strategic partnerships.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 5+ years proven experience with construction operations in heavy civil and paving projects.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and construction industry standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
- Proficiency in project management software and tools including HCSS, P6, Excel, MS Project
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to and from work site
- Experience and demonstration of strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conducted
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Observe and comply with necessary PPE requirements
- Must be able to work in a noisy area with many odors present
- Bending, stretching, stooping, kneeling, crawling and squatting
- Ability to sit in an office space for extended periods of time
Salary Range: $85,000-$92,000
