Meister Concrete, LLC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Concrete Project Manager to oversee commercial and multi‑family structural concrete projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing cast‑in‑place concrete work, including foundations, slabs, elevated decks, walls, reinforcing steel, embeds, formwork, and coordination with general contractors, engineers, suppliers, and field crews.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial and residential concrete projects from contract award through final completion.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, addenda, and project schedules to understand scope, risks, exclusions, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate project startup, mobilization, manpower, material deliveries, equipment, concrete placements, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and track project budgets, cost reports, billing, change orders, purchase orders, and projected costs to completion.
  • Work closely with superintendents and foremen to plan daily and weekly work activities, manpower needs, sequencing, and productivity.
  • Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
  • Identify delays, design conflicts, site conditions, missing information, and scope changes; prepare notices and change order requests as needed.
  • Coordinate concrete mix designs, testing, inspections, reinforcing steel, embeds, formwork, concrete pumps, and other project materials.
  • Monitor project schedules and help develop recovery plans when work is delayed or resequenced.
  • Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices, track material quantities, and ensure costs remain within budget.
  • Prepare and submit monthly billing, schedule of values updates, change order logs, and project reports.
  • Maintain complete project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, correspondence, photos, daily reports, and closeout documents.
  • Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Support project closeout, punch list work, final billing, warranties, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in commercial concrete construction, structural concrete, or related construction trades.
  • Strong knowledge of cast‑in‑place concrete construction, including foundations, slabs, walls, elevated decks, rebar, formwork, embeds, and concrete placement operations.
  • Experience working on commercial, multi‑family, institutional, or high‑rise construction projects preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and shop drawings.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, billing, change orders, and project financial management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and field teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with construction management software is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Foundation ERP, ProjectHQ, or similar construction software.
  • Experience managing union and non‑union concrete crews.
  • Familiarity with AIA billing, schedule of values, subcontract agreements, and public works requirements.
